Questions

How much does Kahoa cost?

Fifty dollars a month, flat, for the whole toolkit at any community size — twenty-five homes or five thousand. There are no setup fees, no per-door pricing, and no features held back for a higher tier.

Do my homeowners pay anything to use Kahoa?

Only the standard payment fees, never a markup. A bank-transfer payment is a flat $2.45 — the same standard rate the industry charges — and a card payment passes through at Stripe's actual cost of 2.9% + 30¢, where per-door platforms charge 3.5% + 50¢. Kahoa never adds a margin to the fees a homeowner pays.

What hidden fees should an HOA board look for in a software contract?

Five recur across the industry: per-unit pricing with monthly minimums that make small communities pay several times the advertised rate; marked-up payment processing fees charged to homeowners, often even on autopay; feature gating that holds accounting, elections, or AI for higher tiers or per-event fees; setup and implementation fees from a few hundred to tens of thousands of dollars; and quote-only pricing that hides the real number until the sales call.

Is Kahoa's pricing really flat? What's the catch?

The subscription is $50 a month for the entire toolkit at any community size — the price doesn't band by units and nothing is gated. Usage costs like payment processing and mailed letters pass through at standard rates with no markup. And you can export every one of your community's records at any time and leave — the strongest guarantee we can offer that the pricing stays honest.
