Utah's registered HOAs, county by county
Utah law requires every homeowners association to register with the Department of Commerce within 90 days of recording its declaration — and to renew that registration every year. This directory lists all 4,092 associations on the registry as of July 31, 2026: where each one is, when its registration runs out, and whether a community manager is on file.
Registration isn't paperwork trivia. Under Utah Code § 57-8a-105, while an association is out of compliance with the registration requirement, a lien may not arise under § 57-8a-301 — and the association may not enforce an existing lien that already did. A lapsed renewal quietly switches off the association's strongest collection tool until it's fixed.
