Kahoa
Kahoa connects to the association's bank and sorts every transaction into funds, and mails letters at postage cost, for $50 a month.
RunHOA costs $399 a year for any number of homes and includes Form 1120-H, voting and texting, which makes it the lowest-priced full HOA accounting tool we've found. RunHOA has only one public review. The best RunHOA alternatives are Kahoa for automatic bank feeds and mailed letters, PayHOA for unlimited calls and texts, and Buildium for boards with a bookkeeper.
Kahoa makes Kahoa, one of the alternatives here. RunHOA is scored with the same HSAT as every other tool, and every claim links to its source.
RunHOA is HOA management software for self-managed associations, with a directory, owner portal, accounting, budgeting, dues collection, voting, a website builder and the 1120-H for one yearly price.
RunHOA collects payments through Stripe and lets the board choose who pays the fee. RunHOA's help center describes entering bank activity and reconciling against the statement by hand; RunHOA lists no bank connection.
